(yes I am a die hard soccer fan!) From the first time I got goosebumps listening to his chorus driven anthem and still as I am writing this post, listening to his music has the natural tendency to inspire. Simple put more people need to listen to K’naan. And is this a bad thing? NOT AT ALL! I am willing to sacrifice listening to Wavin Flag for the good of the world cup and humanity. but you have great taste!!įor us the fans this means two things: 1) More people will be able to listen to his messages of peace and hope through his positive music and 2) By the end of the year Wavin’ Flag will probably be so overplayed that you wont want to hear it ever again. Coca-Cola has picked his song Wavin’ Flag to serve as the anthem for Coca-Cola South Africa World Cup Campaign! Thanks Coke. Well I have a feeling that 2010 is gonna be his best year yet.
